These are special transformers used in AC/CD or CD/AC conversion systems.
They can be produced as dry and oil type. Oily types can be with expansion tank and hermetic.
They can be designed with natural or forced air or water cooling.
It can be produced for 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36 and 48 pulse systems.
During the design stage of the transformer, the design is done considering the harmonics and other system parameters.
